It has been announced that Mao will start his own broadcast of "Mao's TV" which is to be seen only by mobile phones
It seems like it may be similar to his "Mao's Room" that he had before but there hasn't been any further details yet

SID announces new album "M&W"

Their new album will be released on the 1st of August and there will be three different versions as usual. However this time the limited A and B will contain different contents

Limited A will include a special package and as a result will be more expensive (￥4,500) than usual, whereas Limited B will be at the same price as their other albums (￥3,800). The regular edition will be as normal with no extra DVD (￥3,100)

SID to participate in L'arc~en~cie's tribute album

SID has announced to be participating in L'arc~en~ciel's new tribute album "L'arc~en~ciel TRIBUTE", which is to be released on the 13th June 2012.
The album includes 14 tracks covered by artists from around the world, 4 which are bonus tracks from japanese artists.
SID will be doing a cover of "Shout at the Devil"!

Report on SID's "Shooting Live" Performance + more on new single "S"

"For their first single of 2012, SID will be releasing their new single, 「Nokoriga」 on 2nd May. They also held a premium live in Zepp Tokyo on 16 March (Friday). During the live, a horror character who is highly recognised on a national level, Sadako, made an appearance.

The live performance on that day was named on the basis of revealing their new song(s) during the live. At the same time, the live's footages were also being recorded. Being able to listen to the new song(s) earlier than others and also being able to attend a SID's live at a venue of this size at Zepp Tokyo, the 2,700 fans that were gathered at the venue filled the atmosphere to the brim with excitement.

In this excitement-filled state, the news of releasing two singles in two consecutive weeks was announced. In addition, it was also made known that the second single to be released will be used as the theme song of movie, 『Sadako 3D』, which will be released in theatres on 12th May (Saturday).

For SID, this will be the first time that their song will be used as a movie theme song. The song, decisively titled 「S」, was made using the image of the movie as a basis for production.

Of course, during the day of the live, in addition to 「Nokoriga」 which has already been announced previously, the new song, 「S」 was also revealed for the first time, moreover with the surprise of Sadako appearing on stage. It was an unforgettable new song(s) revelation live accompanied by the screams of fans.

New single "S"

SID has announced a new single called "S" which will be used in the upcoming film "Sadako 3D" - based on the character Sadako of the "Ring" films
There will be three versions of the single where one version will include a DVD of their "Shooting Live" performance held on the 16th March.

The single will be released on the 9th May, exactly one week after their previously announced new single "Nokoriga"!

SID announces emergency live performance

SID will be doing an emergency live performance called "新曲披露SHOOTING LIVE" (New Song Display SHOOTING LIVE) on 16/03/12 at Zepp Tokyo. The live will be recorded.

It'll be open at 18:00 and starts at 19:00

Tickets cost 4,100 yen each and can be found on their ID-S website

More Information on Ki/oon 20th anniversary live

"Ki/oon Records will velebrate its 20th anniversary on April 1st of this year, and to commemorate the occasion, the company will hold an event called "Ki/oon 20 Years & Days". There will be 20 shows held between April 7 and April 29 at the LIQUIDROOM Ebisu live house, featuring many of Ki/oon's artists.

It is reported that about 40 artists will participate, with the rest to be announced later. Ki/oon Records will also announce at a late date which artists will perform on which days"

Ki/oon is holding a 20 day live to celebrate the label's 20th anniversary and so SID will also be participating!
The live will be held at Ebisu's "LIQUIDROOM" FROM 07/04/12 - 29/04/12 (...that's not really 20 days is it? XD)
